Hot Chicken Soup

Ingredients for two persons:

  • One liter of water
  • One stock cube
  • One big chicken fillet, extremely finely chopped
  • A half yellow pepper, diced
  • One diced tomato, the pips removed
  • A tablespoon of ginger, finely chopped
  • Three cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • Red pepper powder
  • Cayenne pepper, a lot of it too
  • Rape oil
  • Olive oil
  • Crème fraiche
Put the yellow pepper and rape-oil in a saucepan pan and heat slightly. Remove the pepper from the saucepan and pour the water into the saucepan. Boil the water and add the stock cube. When it is boiling, add some olive oil, the chicken and spices. The chicken should be properly cooked in ten minutes: after five minutes add the ginger and the garlic, and after eight minutes add the heated pepper. Before removing the soup from the plate, add the olive oil and the tomato. The soup should be served immediately together with a dollop of crème fraiche (a type of sour cream).

The chicken soup should be really hot and spicy. The large quantity of water will smooth things out and the crème fraiche will contrast the spicy food and create a great taste sensation.
