Interpretation
It is my belief that it might very well be so that as for an example the intellectual processing of information stimulates parts of the brain involved in creating an understanding of the world colored by emotional meaning, thus contributing to the manifestation of new feelings and thoughts characterized by qualities profoundly different from what non-intellectual brain activity could produce. This could maybe be illustrated by the activity of intellectual critical attitude. In an activity characterized by such an attitude, an ongoing creation and debunking of truths would not likely seas, thus never producing a fulfilling sense of truth that could be experienced when as for an example one is being at one with the presence of here and now. In this perspective one might see the different purpose of intellectual achievements and spiritual experiences, just as a reflection of the works of the mind; each of them providing their own misinterpretations and truths about the world, but different understanding and interpretation of meaning and thus different emotional experience. If this it true, it is not only important what information our mind work with, but also what part of the brain we choose to work with the information. In my experience we always tend to believe the most in how we in the very present moment interpret the world, which to me is an important finding contributing to my understanding of how I regard the relation between different truths created by seemingly different ways of brain activity.
