Ingredients:

  • Some Swedish turnip, some carrots, some parsnip and some of all other root vegetables you can think of
  • Potatoes
  • Rice
  • Rape oil
  • Finely diced ginger
  • Some cloves of pressed garlic
  • Cream for cooking purposes
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
Dice the potatoe-like vegetables and long carrot-like vegetables should be chopped into sticks. Put them into a saucepan and fry them in rape oil. The hard vegetables go in first and softer ones later on. Put them in one by one. When the vegetables seems about ready add the garlic, ginger and the rest of the spices. Finally add the cream. The potatoes should be boiled in a separate saucepan and added along with the cream. Turn of the heat, put the lid on the saucepan and let the ingredients soak in the cream.

Serve along with boiled rice.
