Solid Webshop System The Solid Webshop System is a product that I developed some years ago. The main purpose was to make a lightweight system that would be highly configurable to suit almost any line of product. I made this possible by using reliable techniques such as ASP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML and by spending a lot of time on the project. The end product consists of two sets of pages. The first set of pages is the actual webshop that the customer uses and the other one is the administration pages. If you want to you can test it capabilities for yourself. You can find a demo version of the Solid Webshop System here. The graphical layout of the webshop is easily changed to whatever is wanted. As it is the layout can even be configured to a great extent from the password protected administration pages. Style sheets and all chunk of texts within the webshop, can be changed from these pages as well. They also allows manipulation of products, product prices, brands, shipping cost, product photos, automatic resizing of photos, additional file upload and much more. The administration pages access through web browsers and thus accessible from all computers connected to the internet. The system has been designed in such a way that it is very easy to extend its functionality to cope with the changes of time. The system already supports four different languages and four different currencies and can easily be upgraded to support even more if necessary. All prices are automatically updated through a special page.
