The Vegetable Kingdom
Even though many of us live lives somewhat separated from the earth,
our lives pretty much still depend on the plants doing their thing.
But I believe the connection goes deeper than that. As for an example, as a painter I find it extremely interesting that the colours in the nature always match, whereas on the canvas it isn't necessarily so. Also I rarely experience nature untouched by man, as being dirty or untidy, whereas I only have to drop my socks on the floor to provoke this kind of feeling. Why is it, that trees can drop their leaves without provoking that kind of response in me?
